Garlic Dances

Eleanor Owen Kerr completed the Professional Certificate program at Maine Media Workshops; she also apprenticed with internationally renowned photographer, Paul Caponigro. Her black and white landscape images, often abstract and contemplative, grow from the artist's compulsion to peel back the layers covering nature's mysteries and examine "what else is there." Ms. Kerr exhibits extensively in juried shows around the U.S. and is represented by galleries in Louisiana and California; her work is also held in the collection of the U.S. State Department ART in Embassies

Awards Ms. Kerr has received repeated awards from groups such as the International Photography Awards, Prix de la Photographie de Paris, Black and White Spider Awards, Photographer's Forum and Women in Photography International.

Additionally, Kerr’s work has been featured by publications such as Lenscratch Fine Art Photography, One One Thousand, SHOTS Journal of Photography, The Photo Review, Photographer’s Forum, and Silvershotz International Journal of Fine Art Photography.
