Swiss-born Felix Hug has gone from winning trophies as a professional basketball player to winning awards as a professional travel and fine art photographer.
Felix brings to photography the same dedication, professionalism and work ethic that carried him into the top rungs of Europe's professional basketball leagues. As a result, he is sought after by some the world's top travel brands, such as Lonely Planet, Singapore Airlines or National Geographic Traveler.
For his Fine Art Nude photography he focuses mostly on emotion, movement and texture. Both his series "Stranded" and "Reborn" have won him international photography publications and Awards.
His work is imbued by his philosophy. He says, "You have to get away from just documenting reality. The job of the photographer is to capture and trigger emotions as well. The photographers viewpoint has to evoke feelings and change the way we look at things."
