Landscape photographer Prof. Hersh W. Chadha O.P.M. (Harvard) ARPS (www.hershchadha.com) was born in 1957 in India. Being fond of photography from the very beginning of his life path, he has captured the nature, architecture and people of 83 countries and 226 cities in 5 continents. His latest book Visions of Nature, published through Assouline Inc. in New York, became a celebration of his best photographs taken during his long journey.
Feeling for people in need, Hersh Chadha considers philanthropy as a necessary tool in contributing towards human development. Education is one of the focal points in the framework of his philanthropic activity. He supports the Institute of Journalism at Taras Shevchenko Kiev University in Ukraine and American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan by conducting lectures and master classes on photography and providing scholarships and internship opportunities for students. Hersh Chadha intends to expand his mission by cooperating with more universities all over the world.
