Only a little over half of primary school age haitian children are enrolled in school and less than 2 % finish secondary school. NPH runs 16 street schools in the worst slums in Citè Soleil to provide an education to children that do not have the "luxury" of going to school and offers one meal a day to tham. For the majority of this children this is the only food they will receive in a day.
