This series called Comforts of Home, are stories of lives in flux as revealed by the minute details of the various objects of the interior living spaces and the surrounding world. They are explorations of the transitory and cyclical nature of people and the environment. The panoramic format gives us the opportunity to unobtrusively step into these disquieting living situations just a moment before or after the occupants are present. Densely layered scenes encourage a voyeuristic walk across and into the often distorted planes to discover more about the life of the phantom resident.

Allen Bryan is a photographer specializing in ?tabletop? products such as jewelry, pottery, glassware, home and clothing accessories for advertising, catalogs and portfolios. His work has appeared in magazines, books and newspapers as well as hundreds of catalogs, postcards and ads. Since 1995, he has been exhibiting and selling fine art prints of his personal body of work involving the landscape and the influence of people upon it.
