Consumables

Early onset symptoms of consumerism

Cormac Hanley was born in Ireland in 1970.

Influenced by artists such as Robert Ballagh and Michael English, their hyper-realistic styles led Cormac to pursue an early career as an airbrush illustrator.

This grounding in advertising is evident in the strong graphical approach he brings to his photography.

Enjoying both the meticulous nature of studio work and the contrasts between it and self assigned projects away from the studio, which he views as a way to stay loose and a little more open to happy accidents.
