This series explores camel markets in Birqash (Egypt) and Buraydah (Saudi Arabia). Once shaped by desert routes and oral negotiation, these markets now exist alongside cranes and expanding urban infrastructure. Yet the core rhythms of exchange remain intact. The images reveal a transitional landscape where tradition is not replaced, showing how ancient commerce adapts within shifting spatial and economic realities. Camels continue to embody tribal identity, regional pride, and significant financial value, remaining a status symbol that highlights cultural differences across the world.
