Hanoi, Vietnam, is a city over 1,000 years old with rapid urban development, yet it still has old collective housing blocks tied to a "subsidized economy era" in Vietnamese history, from the country's reunification in 1975 until 1986. Treating these old housing blocks as a "character" in my creative work, I began a project in January 2024 to photograph the remaining old collective housing in Hanoi. This project aims to preserve the traces of a historical period and to mark the turning point of today's urban economic development, as city planning is gradually erasing such buildings.

Currenly work as special reporter for Lao Động newspaper (one of the biggest newspapers in Viet Nam).
