The women of the Sundarbans, in the Ganges delta, are left alone to face the worsening consequences of climate change. While most of men have emigrated looking for jobs in the cities, they have to take care of the household, the family, and still help make ends meet, with often precarious informal jobs. But they have also found ways to cope with their situation, knowing that if they do not take the future into their own hands, no one will probably do it for them.
