They come from 17 countries in Asia and are students at Asian University for Women in Chattogram, Bangladesh. Many were actively prevented from getting an education. Bombs exploded in her classroom on three different occasions. Her family members disappeared because they were educated. She was confronted by the Taliban in her own home because she sought education. They grew up in a refugee camp. She worked long hours in a garment factory. Their stories and origins differ, but they share dedication to improve their own lives and the freedom of women throughout the developing world.
