G7 Subplot

With a total cost of 166 million Euro and more than 18.000 security forces the 48th Group of 7 (G7) was held in June 2022 in Castle Elmau in Bavaria, Germany. The summit was the first for German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The outcome of the summit was long-awaited, considering the climate crisis. However the leaders of 7 countries didn´t manage to address the all encompassing issue of the global climate collapse adequately. I spent three days there to document that around and the subplot of the event.
