Teahupoo is a small village south of Tahiti, at the end of the road. It's also the name of the huge surf spot.

For now this village is best known by surfers from around the world.

Soon it will be known by the whole world . Teahupoo will host the 2024 surf olympics game competition.

The wave cannot be seen from the shore; you have to go there by boat.
On July 14, 2022 the wave reached a height between 30-40 feet.

The height of the wave, the noise it puts out when it breaks are absolutely astonishing and just few amateur surfers are able to surf it.
