This is Ryan and Gray.Ryan's pronoun of choice is They.Gray is transitioning from female to male.They have both grown up in a rural community and have been friends since childhood.Living in a rural community they have endured abuse, physical and verbal but they have always had the support of a close circle of friends and each other. Ryan is vivacious, intelligent, compassionate. Gray is quiet, introspective, intelligent, and expresses his thoughts through beautiful compassionate poetry. As long as they retain their friendship I expect them to do well as they explore the world beyond here.
It has taken me a while to consider myself a photographer. In my lifetime I have been daughter, sister, wife, mother, empty nester, grandmother, great grandmother, widow and partner. Never in those years was I a photographer. Frankly except for family memories, I didn't have time. Some might and have said that that I am stubborn. I prefer determined. I have also been described as quirky, but only by those who say they love me. I have always seen stories in the world around me but without a camera didn't have a way to tell these stories.
