Summary: On January 6, 2021 as Congress was in the process of certifying the results of the Electoral College results for President-elect Joe Biden, a mob stormed the U.S. Capitol in hopes of overturning President Donald Trump’s defeat. The following photos were all taken inside the House Chamber, where the joint session of Congress was meeting to do its official business and the last picture is of President Trump's first public appearance after the riot on January 12, 2021.
