In September 2021, this photograph will be 20 years old. It was originally part of a series shot in New York city, in late august 2001 for a fashion magazine and got picked to be the cover. The magazine sold out in few hours on the day of the release right after 9/11, quite involuntarily. It's been exhibited confidentially around the world and been passing through time and events without running out of steam. In 2020, with Black Lives Matter movement, the picture again brings a very singular resonance.
