Lost Childhood

One of most important part of a child's life is being loved and nurtured in a family.Childhood is incomplete,even damaged,without it.But for some families,providing for their children and nurturing them with the necessary comfort is a luxury.They end up giving their children into child labour so that they can earn money to survive.Photos show children at a ship propeller making factory at Sadarghat dockyard in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka,working without proper safety equipments and in a overall unsafe condition.They say their Work starts from 7AM to 7PM only $2/day having no weekly vacation.

Pinu Rahman a versatile photographer based in Dhaka Bangladesh.He is a die hard photographer nearly 8 years.Professionally he is a banker.His passion and profession never converged, but he has been able to parallelly exit in both worlds.A banker by profession,he kept his artistic drive for photography alive and nurtured it which brought some accolades and recognition both national and international .Among them One of the most prestigious award last year he achieved for Bangladesh in the ‘Best of Nation’ category from World Photographic Cup 2019 jointly organised by Europe and America.
