Confederate monuments coming down in Richmond, VA

George Floyd protesters target confederate monuments in numerous cities.

As tense protests, sparked by the death of George Floyd, swelled across the country over Saturday night into Sunday morning, Confederate monuments in Virginia, the Carolinas, Tennessee and Mississippi were defaced. This lead to Richmond, VA voting to remove it's Confederate monuments after a summer of protest.

Jay's work has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, USA Today & The Wall Street Journal....also on his mom's and dad's refrigerator. He has a MFA in fine art photography from Virginia Commonwealth University. He's photographed two books on Tasha Tudor for Little Brown & Co.
