“Human/Nature” is a photographic series about tourism, nature, despoilment and human encroachment. I photograph human-made artifacts such as signs and power lines in scenic spots, highlighting these typically avoided artifacts and photographing them as tourists who have overstayed and become long term (often permanent) parts of the landscape. The slow and meticulous process of the large format camera makes me acknowledge my own complicity. 

Will finish my photography degree at Art Center College of Design at the end of the year.
