The wider community have a misinformed perception that undergoing a double Mastectomy must be traumatic. They believe women cannot be happy without breasts due to the belief that has been instilled in us from birth that to be a woman requires breasts. This can be viewed the same as the famous quote from Kindergarten Cop: "Boys have a penis, and girls have a vagina". Times are changing because no longer are we defining Gender by the body parts that were assigned to us. I am Me Celebrates myself exactly as I am: Flat and happier without breasts. My surgery was for preventative reasons.
