Iran's Zookhana are centuries old, historically the worlds first
modern gyms. They form an important part of the community,
where young and old go to practise a variety of flexibility, aerobic
and strength exercises, all modelled on the cavalries of old. The
sessions range up to 2 hours, where men as old as 80 maintain an
intensity that is almost beyond belief.
Focused on the other side of life, where my camera can explore areas that i wouldn't normally have access to. I am drawn to intensely human stories, good or bad, in the places people have forgotten exist.
