At the dawn of 2020, the world receded into quarantine. Lifestyles were fraught with apprehension surrounding an unapologetic threat. We discovered detachment drastically tests psychology as a fragile inter-connectedness amid surreal stillness appeared. Like mythology and literature, games are cultural agents for human experience—the zeitgeist of societies. While passing time during home isolation, games cultivated safety and intimacy. As surrogates to customary interactions, these moments emphasized lost traditions from which I've reassessed daily life during this ambiguous arc of time.

I was raised as a first-generation Greek-American; these two distinct cultures forged my personal perspectives. Socioeconomics, cultural diversity, history, & architecture fuel my intellectual & emotional intrigue, while informing my creative process. My work probes themes of identity, connection, nostalgia & isolation. I have exhibited my work locally & nationally. Venues include Blue Sky Gallery, Baltimore Museum of Art & the Grimaldis Gallery, Candela Gallery, Klompching Gallery’s “Fresh”, & the HCP. My work also resides in several private and corporate collections nationwide.
