Grandpa Leroy Larter lives with a cattle ranching family neighboring his once working cattle ranch. At 91 he has lived a full life as a Veteran of the Navy and as a farmer in Northern Minnesota. While it may have appeared a modest and simple life, it was one of loyalty, love, and hard work and survival. Leroy married Lettie out of the service and the two spent an incredible 67 years together before she died in the spring of 2020. In tearful silence, Leroy often sits on his bed and looks through the book of their lives together, filled with letters to each other spanning their years of love.
