Gil is a young boy living on a farm in rural Northern Minnesota. His parents are cattle ranchers and he is the youngest of 7 kids. Gil spends most of his days doing chores on the farm and then sped=nding time with his cousins and friends on neighboring farms. Gil has rescued this gosling from one of the creeks when its mother abandoned it. Gil placed it in his neighbors chicken coop to grow and get strong. Gil showed me the goose and grabbed it in the coop. He then thre it up in the air to see if it was time for it to fly away. It did not fly away that day but did fly away weeks later.
