The series introduces the viewer to an unusual and difficult-to-reach territory - the surgical operating block. The entrance to this closed object is marked with a red line. Anyone who crosses this line, whether he is a patient or a doctor, falls into the zone of high emotional and physical tension, peak concentration and inner anxiety. The aim was to convey the atmosphere of this strange place, filled with tension and secret meanings. All the pictures were taken directly during the surgical operations in surgical clinics in Kyiv in 2019 where the author herself works as a surgeon
