Life in Rohingya Camps 1 Year In.

1.2 million Rohingya refugees fleeing prosecution in Myanmar arrived in the hills outside Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh within 8 months. That means 1.2 million people need to be housed. 3.6 million meals have to be supplied a day. The results of 1.2 trips to the bathroom need to be processed. And 1.2 million people need clean water and healthcare. The international community has come together to meet these challenges. UNOPS has accepted the responsibility of managing the funding for the camps. The images produced on this mission will be used in the UNOPS Annual Report and on the website.
