The colour in the sky was beginning to build when I arrived so it was
race against time to finalise my composition. I'd photographed around
these rocks before, but the combination of the low tide and still
conditions exposed them in a way that was very much like the petals of a
flower. Even though it was a rush, I managed to set up my gear and
take this majestic shot before the best of the light disappeared.
