Tortured House

This image was taken on the Southeast Coast of the South Island
of New Zealand, in area that is famous for its tortured trees.
These are the Macrocarpa trees that are blown into unusual flat
and elongated shapes by the very powerful coastal winds.
Obviously, the farmer in this case thought the trees would create a
nice windbreak. However, over time, the trees ended up engulfing
and torturing his house.
