Icy Niagara Falls looks like a different planet

We had two weeks of the extreme cold weather in Canada. I
thought it was a perfect opportunity to see the falls for the first
time in winter and the first time at night. I knew it is illuminated at
night, but I haven’t expected anything like this. The entire place
around the falls was covered with ice. The colorful light show,
combined with the enormous icicles, gave a perception of being
on a different planet.
