Tehran attack

Two-year-old Emad is being transferred out from the parliament
building after gunmen opened fire at Iran’s parliament on June 7,
2017 in the capital Tehran, Iran. That day Emad and his mother
were hopeful they would get help to treat his advanced illness-
mucopolysaccharidosis.
Suicide bombers and gunmen stormed into Iran's parliament and
targeted the shrine of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.
The terrorist militia ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Omid Vahabzadeh (born 1989) has been a professional photographer since 2006, when he started as a staff photographer for FARS News Agency in Iran. He holds an Associate?s Degree in photography and has covered social, political and sporting events in Iran and abroad. His work has been published in various national Iranian newspapers, as well as many international publications including the Associated Press, Reuters, The New York Times and The Washington Post.
