The project "Paradisi regained", is a fictional story of a teacher that arrives in a
remote village ,named Paradisi in South Evia , Greece, only to find out that most of the people in the
area have had very little education and schooling, due to hard work and difficulties. She
decides to educate people and children in the most inventive way.
The story is based on a research concerning education in rural and remote areas and the project questions the relation of education and true knowledge.
"Paradisi regained" was accomplished with the participation of inhabitants from the area and
each image is followed by a text referring to the story.
