Domesticate

While publications about animals are usually intended for hunters,
wildlife photographers, environmentalists or animal owners, I
believe animals represent a topic of interest beyond these specific
contexts – I have been researching the subject passionately for the
last three years.
This series showcases a culturally-diverse selection of stories that
describe unexpected man-animal interactions: visit of a “Fukuro
café” in Tokyo – where clients spend time with different kinds of
wild nocturnal birds of prey, a live Blue Swimmer Crab sold on a
Hong Kong market, a snapshot of a documentary maker, a dry
snake used in China to treat arthritis and an expensive song bird
in its sculpted cage.
