California is an ideal testing ground for our transition from fossil
fuels to renewable energy. This is a section of the largest
corporate solar installation in all of California (in 2005) built for
the FedEx West Coast Hub, which processes 100,000 pounds of
packages daily.

Awards Awards/Recognition:

- Won second prize in the National Geographic Photographer of the Year Award - in the environmental issues category.
- Two featured photos for the National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year 2016 contest
- Shortlisted for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2016 competition by the Natural History Museum of London.
- One photograph included in the Parks and Wildlife story for National Geographic.
