ALEPPO, Syria - Their names were Issa, Ahmed and Sheik
Mahmoud Qasim. They were fathers, brothers, civilian fighters. In
an instant they all lost their lives as a tank blast exploded through
their post. But in Syria there is no time to mourn. The survivors
washed away the blood and flesh in a heartbreaking clean up. New
fighters came to take their posts. And the battle continued.

Awards Tracey Shelton has received more than a dozen international accolades including a George Polk Award, a Peabody, an OPC, a POYi, an Edward Murrow Award a MIFA and a TIFA gold medal. In 2015, she was a finalist for both Moving Images Photographer and International Journalist of the Year.
