The Battle of Mosul is a joint offensive by Iraqi government forces
with allied militias, Iraqi Kurdistan, and international forces to
retake the city of Mosul from the Islamic State of Iraq and the
Levant (ISIL).
This project include Peshmerga fighters and Iraqi Forces.

Halit Onur Sandal was born in Turkey in 1990. He live in Istanbul. He started his career as a photograhy joining in the School of Fine Arts Photography in Izmir. He is a full-time freelance photographer specialising in covering news and feature stories.
