Tokyo is Yours is a fictional narrative drawn from real life in Japan
post the Great East Earthquake and Tsunami of 2011
The work is influenced by film noir, Japanese printmaking and
Manga and explores archetypes, human connection, fear and
anxiety. It is set in Japan a country which the author may never call
their own. The work is edited into a visual poem which is left open
for interpretation by the reader. I anticipate the edit will work well
in both directions as in the style of a Japanese book as well as a
western one.
