Health and Hospitals NYC runs the public hospital system in New
York City. Their mission is to offer healthcare to any and all who
walk through their doors regardless of their ability to pay. This
means that fully a third of the patients (330,000 visits a year) are
uninsured. And they speak over 140 languages. HH NYC needed
to raise awareness of the availability of their services in the
communities they work. The photos will be used in HH NYC's
annual report and on their web site.
John Rae is a professional documentary and commercial photographer based in NYC. His clients include Fortune 500 companies and leading International Nongovernmental Organizations. For 20 years John has photographed extensively in over 85 countries and those photographs have appeared in major publications in the US, Europe, and Australia.
