The Secret Garden

This series, taken in April 2016, looks into various aspects of a land allotment being used as a garden by a friend of mine.

This series begins with the depiction of the solitary bench marking a lonesome figure in the garden. However, the reintroduction of colours displayed by subsequent pictures rejuvenates the garden. The photos ‘Daffodil’, 'Saplings number 1' and 'Saplings number 2' mark the coming of spring and growth. This theme of new growth is further illustrated with the next photo, ‘Three Shades’.
