Feathers and Metals
Feathers and Metals proposes a visual comparison of two
intrinsically different materials that invite us to reflect on how we
can alter reality. When looked at with the naked eye and we
compare size and texture, the differences are quite profound; one
is organic, soft, and has movement while the other is industrial,
solid, rigid, inspires coldness and rigidity. The macro lens is the
tool that allowed feathers and metal to become so similar that it
is almost impossible to tell them apart.
