Life in Transition; Myanmar

After almost four decades of self-imposed isolation, in 2010,
Myanmar (Burma), a multi-ethnic country with long history, has
peacefully reopened to the world. The transitional movement was
evident with a ceasefire agreement and followed by a general
election. Since then, Myanmar became world news in almost all
aspects, and the outside world has been willing and eager to
participate in the turbulent transitional flow of Myanmar.

I am, a medical doctor and a serious amateur photographer, based in Bangkok, Thailand.
I observe and take photos of real people’s life.
I am always fascinated with what people in my photographs did.
For me, the only way to get it real is to observe without interfering, without letting them aware of my existence.
