After Ebola

  • Prize
  • Photographer
    Tommy Trenchard, Sierra Leone

When a person dies of Ebola their body is collected by a PPE-clad
burial team and driven away to be buried.

They leave behind broken families, orphans, and bedrooms that
remain untouched, frozen in time at the moment of death, by bereaved
families simply too afraid to enter.
