I live in rural France and have been visiting and documenting abandoned houses, homes
andfarms in rural settings for the past 16 months and the project of 12 houses (three
images of each) is now completed.
This project brings together many ideas but focuses on life, hope, ageing, death of a
dream and rebirth.
Each house has a different atmosphere and in different stages of decomposition and the
images try to captures the sense of the place and correlate it with the 'feel' of the space.
