Città Minime (Minimal Cities).
“Città Minime” explores the space in which the majority of
people live, an urban space recognisable in its essential
structures: the buildings, the roads, the trees, although seen
from a different point of view that distorts and recreates them.
The shots are the result of a meticulous, almost obsessive
staging in which the picture remains the only evidence of large-
scale installations made in the photographer’s studio or
outdoors. The use of Photoshop is minimised, while the
atmosphere is recreated with a clever use of technical devices.

Matteo Mezzadri was born in Parma (Italy) in 1973. Professional photographer since 2003, he works for important national and international brands. In 2009 he founded BIANCA photographic studio based in Parma.
In 2014 he won second prize at the Sony World Photography Awards. His work was presented in numerous exhibitions, set up in important national museums as well as in private galleries. Among the most recent exhibits:
