Suffer Little Children

"Suffer Little Children: The Victims of Burma's Man Made Disaster" - this is the complete title of the work but it wont fit in teh Title of Entry box online.

The project documents the Mae Tao Clinic on the Thai Burma border showing teh harrowing experiences of Burma's refugees and migrants forced to flee Burma at the hands of the brutal ruling military regime.

The Mae Tao Clinic which lies near the Thai-Burma border was founded by Dr. Cynthia Maung. Approximately 300 people a day receive free healthcare at the clinic, mostly migrant workers and refugees who have fled across the border from Burma to escape poverty and persecution from the ruling military regime. Mae sot, Thailand. Its origins go back to the student pro-democracy movement in Burma in 1988 and the brutal repression by the Burmese regime of that movement. The fleeing students who needed medical attention were attended in a small house in Mae Sot.
