Lluis Artus Bio.

Born in 1965 in Sabadell ( near Barcelona ) was a professional diver til 1992 when a serious diving accident put an end to his career as a deep-sea diver. Studied photography in the Institut dEstudis Fotografics de Catalunya and starts to work for several agencies and newspapers in Barcelona.
In 1996 he moves to London where he lives for ten years and starts to develop his style influenced by British and American photographers.
Strong flash to overcome daylight or the night, bold colors and in your face compositions. The work of Lluis Artus blends the aesthetics of commercial work with the creative interest of personal projects, projects that intend to tell stories of people and culture. He is been working during three years on an ongoing project about the beach culture in Barcelona.
He is represented by the London gallery Diemar/Noble Photography.
