On the sultry streets on the island of Mauritius, these scooter warriors assemble to do battle. Hiding their identity from the police by using super hero costumes and masks, they section areas of the highway off late at night to conduct their impromptu races. Spreadeagled off their souped up machines, they reach crazy speeds with sometimes unfortunate results.

Focused on the other side of life, where my camera can explore areas that i wouldn't normally have access to. I am drawn to intensely human stories, good or bad, in the places people have forgotten exist.
