PX3 Announces 2018 Photography Competition Winners!

(June 11, 2018) The Paris Photography Prize (PX3)—a highly respected annual event dedicated to recognizing and promoting talented photographers from around the world and introducing them to the creative community in Paris—has announced the winners of its 2018 photography competition in both Professional and Student divisions.

The much-anticipated 2018 PX3 competition received over 7,000 entries from 100 countries around the world, representing some of the most talented photographers, both professional and amateur, and their most unique and provocative images.

Hossein Farmani, Founder and President of PX3 and its parent company, Farmani Group, commented: “In this modern age of technological and scientific advances, it is art, creativity, and especially photography and its ability to focus our attention on the issues and events transpiring around us that is helping to keep us anchored to our humanity, to our compassion, even to our sense of humor.”

When announcing the 2018 PX3 Winners, Mr. Farmani added, “Our mission is to give a platform to photographers to tell their stories, to share their unique perspectives, and awaken us to how they see the world. I have been personally very moved by many of the images that have been submitted this year. The Paris Photo Prize has brought into one single arena so many brilliant, unique, and thought-provoking photographic works from all over the world, and I know they will impact the photography and artistic community in Paris—and the world—in a big way. ”
