On Christmas Lincoln cathedral is illuminated by a complex system of lights.
The photo has been taken to freeze a specific moment of this lights carousel. The purple illumination of the two towers at each side of the facade and the upper part of the latter give the impression of a divine intervention, highlighting the beauty of the Gothic style.
The lower part of the facade illuminated by a clear light creates a game of shadows with the decorative elements. Reflected on the moist pavement of the church square, the cathedral fills the frame with its magnificent monumentality
