From images of galaxies in the universe and microscopic photographs of microorganisms, we perceive a sense of visual pleasure created by nature. I attempted to recreate that sense through macro photographs of textures formed by everyday liquids repeatedly evaporating and condensing over several months, then intensified their visual density and spatial ambiguity through layered photographic composition.

Born in Aichi in Japan in 1968. Graduated from Nagoya Institute of Technology.
After having devoted himself to dub, funk, free jazz, noise, and ethnic music, he noticed the pleasurable sensations created by fluctuations in the interspaces between sound and sound, which led him into his current work making convulsive music and images. Began taking photos in 2003, and began creating image products in 2010. His work includes live performances using only sound, live performances with synchronized sound and images, and image products.

Awards This year is my first time submissions for photography award competitions. But I submitted film festival competitions before.
