She told them after her husband was detained by I.C.E. agents after their immigration court hearings at the 26 Federal Plaza. Afterwards mother with her child wept outside the federal building in downtown New York City; a security guard was moved to tears as well. There was no word at the time, on if the detained man faced any criminal charges or deportation.
