Every winter, humpback whales return to the warm waters of Okinawa, Japan, to give birth and raise their calves. Keeping a respectful distance, I witnessed a quiet moment as a calf followed its mother across the sea. In the stillness beneath the surface, their journey revealed a timeless bond of trust, protection, and unconditional love.
